Feedback on reporduction high humps?

Anyone have first hand expierence with reproductions steel high humps? I dont really like the idea of running a fiberglass one and havent had much luck finding a original. Anyone have good or bad to say about these?

Can't believe Brother's price! They are all using the same stock photo in their ads. Willing to bet they are all from the same supplier.

Yes, by KeyParts. Good old all American capitalism at work here. I have no experience with them. Seems if you really wanted an OEM cover you would find one. Maybe not instantly, like one of these reproductions. If you find one with holes for shifters you don't need, patch the hole up. It gets covered and no one could tell

We made the part and I feel it's very true to the original. We decided to leave it without shifter/transfer case, etc. holes due to the variety of them that were used (We have at least five different style original samples out here)

Re: Feedback on reporduction high humps?

They pop up on the parts forum fairly often, but for $90, I'd get the new one. It's not like a fender that has to fit right. Seam sealer, bolt it down, carpet and it will never be seen again

Re: Feedback on reporduction high humps?

I think it's fantastic that hard to find parts are repoped. It's making hoarded stashes like mine less necessary. Have we thought about the towhooks? Hint hint
