Re: Suburban rear seats and tracks, any info?
I don't think these seats could ever be turned around. In fact you would not even want to sit in them for longer than 2 hours, every long trip I took almost had to have a chiropractor appointment set up at the end.

A 1964 GMC brochure with different seating configurations for the sliders; Sideways even. Too bad these didn't recline. HenryJ

Re: Suburban rear seats and tracks, any info?
Love the literature. That shows why they went to tracks so they could play around with the configuration. It looks like there would be room to install the third seat in reverse but the mounts to the floor are offset therefore the seat would not bolt down.
Still need to find the mounting hardware for the GMC's! Was there a keyhole slot in the tracks to slide in a carridge bolt? There had been mention of a hook for mounting the rear seats, wonder what that looks like.

Exactly why I'm replacing the seats in my 63.
