Re: Mexican Chevy Truck

Looks more like a dodge truck to me. Look above the body line, it doesn't have the classic concave curvature of our squarebodies. It's just ...well.....flat

Re: Mexican Chevy Truck

So when did they stop making/selling the square body model truck in Mexico? Or is it still available new?

i know the original chevy sprint was still available in Argentina at least until 2005!

Re: Mexican Chevy Truck

About 5 years ago during a vacation to Brasil I went on a 3 day tour to some cool remote beach village.
The first 5 hours of the trip were on a tourbus, but the last hour or so we had to get out of the bus and the group was devided over a bunch of pickups.
I got to ride shotgun in one of those Brasilian D20 swb's.
Besides their strange appearance the thing that strcuk me the most was the fact that they were driving thru the sandy terrain and the dunes with 2 wd trucks!!
Mechanically very different too; a noisy as hell 4 cylinder diesel (not sure if it was an Isuzu engine?!?)but nothing like the modern diesels, and they had a 4 on the floor.

When we got to the beach all the other cars/trucks there were 4x4's.....

BTW what kind of seat belt did the guy with the red truck use? C/K1500?!?

Think those are odd…check out these Brazilian square body’s. The outer skin looks a like an over grown S-10 or a late 80’s Ford F-series. You can find pictures of these on the Brazilian ebay site all the time.
this may be a little off subject but the blue truck made me giggle ....the door says (teste)

Re: Mexican Chevy Truck

I want a Hunter, it looks amazing.

On the other hand, I already have a 2WD short bed with manual trans, and a grille guard just like it. I just need to black it out and a stripe kit!
