Re: What a neat truck!

That C/20 looks an awful lot like a K/20 to me. It really is neat. I'd like it for plowing but not at $6k. Those dump hoists for pickup beds are neat, but watch putting much weight in there. That bed is designed t carry weight while mounted to frame rails. there were units that had a sub-frame, but you can tell those by the bed sitting much higher

Re: What a neat truck!

Are you sure it's even a K20? Count the wheel lug nuts. I may be off there, correct me if I am!

I'm thinking it's a 1 ton with 9 foot bed. I'd love to have it, either way, but I cannot justify another truck until mine is running.

Maybe next summer. M A Y B E.

Re: What a neat truck!

It's a 4wd and that's an HO52... or HO72. It does look like a longer bed, but it's a 8'. The C/30 beds have enough space in front of the fender for a spare

Re: What a neat truck!

Looks like a k/20 to me. Blue dial spicers at least suggest that it's got a 3/4 ton front axle as well as an eaton rear. Looks like an 8' step side to me but the pictures aren't the best either.

Re: What a neat truck!

alot of literature printed in the past has stated that the 4 wheel drive was an option on c20's. Unless I'm mistaken.... K20 were a separate model. This seller may be relying on inaccurate information for it.

I get it, but I got a book or two published in the mid to late 80's/early 90's that state the k's were an "option" on the c series rathe than a separate model.
