Power Brake Booster Kit

I installed a CPP front disc brake conversion kit on my 1968 C10 last year. I'm currently looking to install a power brake booster. However, I'm having a hard time figuring out what power brake booster kit I should get. I have used ECE parts on vehicles before and like the quality and customer service. I live in Alaska though, and the quote I got for shipping is $120. So all in the ECE kit would cost me around $510 shipped. I was searching on Ebay and came across a setup for less money and way cheaper shipping.

So I'm wondering if anyone on here can help explain the difference between these two brake booster kits and what additionally I would need to install the ebay setup onto my truck? Thanks.

Also, I added a photo of my truck. Thanks in advance everyone for the help! Love this truck community.

no idea who makes the ebay one but i can tell you it probably doesn't come with any support after the sale. that's part of the cost of the higher end stuff, you get tech support and even warranty if an issue were to arise right away. ebay stuff is almost always made in china too

Re: Power Brake Booster Kit

Looking at the feed back and that he has sold 450 of them quality seems to be good. The two you posted are not the same style so you may want to look at that a bit. The early classic looks more universal and the ebay one looks more like the factory setup.

Re: Power Brake Booster Kit

You can also go another route:

1988-1998 C1500 Booster

1999-2002 Silverado Master Cylinder

I purchased the booster bracket from a board member which placed the booster closer to the firewall. You can get these parts from the local parts store.
