input needed

Hey guys,

I need some input. I'm trying to figure out what kind of transmission this is. It came out of a 1984 Chevrolet C10. The guy said it was a 3 speed but the more I've been looking at it, Im second guessing that.

It is stamped GM30 with the numbers 3901131 om the top with no transmission pan so I can't count the number of bolts for that to determine it that way. It has two panels on the side that I have been trying to figure out what they were for.

While looking around the internet, the only thing I have found that even remotely matches it is the Muncie 4 speed SM465 transmission and it said the two side panels are for PTO.

Based on the picture is this a Muncie 4 speed or is it a 3 speed like the guy told me?
