Piece Painting ??

I'm getting close to paint on my truck....I'm looking for opinions on how to do it..
It will be much easier on me if I can do it in seperate pieces over trying to do the whole truck at once....I'm using sherwin William's ss paint...i have 2 gal of paint which I mixed in a new bucket to make sure ther was no shade difference...
I've already painted the interior and underhood...along with fender edges where they bolt together...
What I'm thinking is paint the bed ,rear fenders ,tailgate one day
Do the cab and front fenders another day
Then the doors and hood another day...
Is this a bad idea? What kind of problems would I create?..
I dont want to get done and there be different shades of color on it...
Will temp changes affect the paint?
