WTB: 67-72 Short Fleet Bed

I have a 67 Short Step bed and all the pieces to rebuild it including the Red Oak Wood Bed Kit, Rails, Mounting Hardware, Angle Iron, Front of bed and Cross support for the back of the bed. The fenders are almost perfect and the sides need a little attention to make them right. I would be willing to Trade this bed plus money to get the right Short Fleet bed. Let me know if your interested.

JR, I have the nicest short fleet bed that we have had in a long time and I would be willing to take yours in on trade.....The shipping both ways is the problem.

The shipping may not be a problem. In March I am going to be in Arizona for my 3rd Grandchilds birth. I then need to go to Missouri for My 4th Grandchilds birth soon there after, so Maybe I could stop in Texas and pick it up from you and bring mine with me. Can you take some pictures of it for me? Does it have a metal bottom or is it a wood bed type? What are you looking to get out of your Shortwide bed? I figure that I would like to get at least $750 to $800 out of this bed and all the new stuff I have with the bed. So think about what you want above and beyond the trade and let me know.

Thanks,

Re: WTB: 67-72 Short Fleet Bed

Paul,

If you come across any more solid, straight short fleet beds I'm interested and live in northwest Houston. I'm doing a wood floor on a 72 and really just need the bedsides and cross sills.

Thanks,
Greg

Duncan and son,
After talking with my Wife last night the baby is coming in late Feb. So its possible I could be there earlier than I thought I could. If your still interested let me know. If you want pictures of the Stepside Bed let me know.
