97 not starting
Tried to start my 97 5.7 Silverado today. The engine cranks and I get a sputter but that is it. It's been raining like crazy here in NJ so it's too nasty out to start checking things.
Any ideas or thoughts on where to start first? Thanks Paul

Re: 97 not starting
Either fuel pump or distributor took a dump. Get some starting fluid and try that...

Re: 97 not starting
Thanks
Weird. I went out when the rain let up and checked for codes with my scanner. No codes and I let it crank a bit longer and it finally caught and runs now. Drove it around for a while and it starts up fine after shutting it off. Guess I don't drive this enough. Paul
