Re: 68 project

great hanging out today man. Truck looks incredible. you have really put a ton of work into it and it shows. gonna be a real neck turner and traffic stopper when you get it on the road. better invest in some red velvet ropes to put up around it when u park it.

Thanks Robert, always a good time hanging out. Ahh, it is okay. I can't use red velvet it won't match, will have to be red canvas.

No I haven't had to move yet, they have yet to set a closing date. Commercial property can sometimes take a good while to work out the logistics on. So until I am told I have to vacate I will continue to plug away and get as much as possible done.

Re: 68 project

Wrapped the headers today and the pipes back to the mufflers. Not to bad for the first time. Thanks to Robert (cknfrmr) for all the help today definitely not a single person job.

Re: 68 project

Heck I always come out ahead with the knowledge I get. And this time a little itchy. Ha Ha Ha. Also have so much fun and get to see that truck. I don't see how anyone could get the wrap real tight by themselves either. The last pic is where Larry caught me admiring/day dreaming of his truck going down the road and me following behind when we get em done. Thanks again for the parts hook up.

Re: 68 project

Headers look nice and cozy in there. I wonder if you'll notice a sound difference. I guess you were able to get it done in one day.

Re: 68 project

I know you're never supposed to ask a women how much she weighs; but how much money do you think you have invested into this build?

Great build thread. Thank you for taking the time to document what you've accomplished.

Not sure on the sound as I have never heard it prior but I would say it would definitely change the tone some. It is actually supposed to help the flow become faster also. Yes, it took us about 4 hours to complete that included un-mounting , wrapping and bolting the headers and pipes back on. I would say you definitely do not want to try to tackle this without an extra hand.

I would not even know where to begin, I have not even kept track as I knew it is not cheap.

Thank you for taking the time to read through my build thread, hopefully soon it will come to a close.
