Hey maybe we should build a motorcycle trailer like that too... Retail for that air ride trailer is probably right around 5 grand, we've been too busy the past few months to build more, but the 2 guys that have one love them!

Well we don't really do retail, although I could maybe hook somebody up on here... dealer's retail would be around $5,000 to $6,000 depending....

College, work, and money.. I'm hoping I can work something out to where I can maybe put like $2,000 into the truck this summer and at least take it for a little drive. I need to get back in it because my excitement seems to be about gone for the project

Ahh everyones worst nightmare! It is easy to get into a lull, but some steady cash flow will pull you out of it. I head back to school in September for my last year so I am rushing to get my truck going before then! Looks good so far!

Yeah, the thing is I bought me a daily driver truck now instead of driving my dad's.. and my transmission went out and I'm right aways wanting to fix it so I can do boosted 4x4 launches with it so that's costing me quite a bit now! Was planning on getting this thing driving this summer.. I'll have to work extra hard over the summer to see if I can't catch up and get ahead some with my money...

Yeah I'm not quitting. It's just a matter of getting back to it... This semester and then 2 more for my Associate's, which is my current goal, then I'm getting back to it if not some in between.

Ok now I'm almost thinking about selling it, but nothing for sure.. but any tips if I were to sell this project? Part it out or could I get a decent price for everything? Where would I sell? Or is it not even worth it... I would mainly like to keep my money in one vehicle instead 2, or just get out of debt and buy me a house eventually. I'm sure I would change my mind though if I drove it once.. I'm just getting a little sick of debt.

I had debt, a wife, no house, and was only making enough to pay a few of my bills but i kept the truck. Put it on the back burner for a year or so and it paid off. It took me 6 years from start to drive it and it still isnt done. You will not make anything off selling it, may be $3-4G at most. Then, your going to kick your self in the @$$ later. Im lucky enough now to own my own house now and make more then enough $$ to do pretty much anything i want, just after all the struggling i know what my priorities are and the truck is usually one of the last.

Finally getting a little something done again.. Got my transmission pan and filter replaced, hopefully that will fix the oil leak... My driveshaft is on (forgot pic). Got my master cylinder and brake lines in, hopefully I can figure all that out here soon. And what I'm concentrating on now is cutting my cab open. I will feel extremely relieved once this is over. Any tips on this are greatly appreciated!!!

What's painted in blue is what's getting cut out. I'll need at least this much in most places to clear. Maybe more yet up front. I might have done my motor mounts a little far back, but I don't see this as a bad thing yet, besides a little more work.

The bottom of the tape is how high I'll have to cut my center out for the driveshaft, I was thinking about doing some kind of tubing around it for re-inforcement once I've cut it all out, I'm sure I'll be doing that anywhere I can and feel it necessary.

This is just a quick mock-up of what I was thinking about cutting out on my firewall and setting in further. I might actually have to cut out at a few sections anyway to clear my motor, so I thought I might as well make it all smooth and even. If there's reasons I've not really seen this done much let me know before it's too late... but not that I'll start cutting before I've done a little more research.
