Gabriel,
I'm making a few right now. It will take me a couple weeks to complete. I'll let you and the others know when they are ready to ship.

Re: Blazer rear hatch mechanisms

I sent a PM to try to order one too. Im wondering if you guys have a resource for the Gen 1 Blazers that explains more of the rear hatch hardware. I have the hatch and ordered a new knob/lock, but noticed Im missing the latches on the sides of the fiberglass top and may be missing one of the arms that connects the lock mechanism to the left side latches.

Also wondering if anyone makes the plastic trim pieces that go on the top of the front doors - over the wing window and door frame. I have one on the passenger side and nothing on the drivers side.

Thanks, Paul Jones

Paul,
I received your PM, but you sent it on Thanksgiving and I was away. As far as an explanation of the hardware, all I have is a page out of the assembly manual, and it is not much help.

The latches that attach to the top are available (used) from time to time on this Board. The arms that are on the inside of the top may also be available (used).

I can make you a mechanism if you can wait a couple weeks. I'll send you a PM.

Re: Blazer rear hatch mechanisms

Jesse, I've got a decent mechanism apart from a broken spring. Are the springs you had made up the same as the factory spring and if so could you spare just spring? Thanks

Yes, the springs I have are copies of a broken spring that I sent to a spring company to have made. One other member bought a couple of these springs from me to do the same thing, but I never heard back from him whether they worked in the old mechanism. They should because they are nearly identical, but I don't know for sure. As of right now though, the springs that I had made are all used in complete mechanisms. Sorry.

Re: Blazer rear hatch mechanisms

No problem.... The one I was looking to fix is just an extra one I've got. I got really lucky and scored a NOS mechanism off eBay still in box for about $50 last year. Too bad those deals don't come around every day.

Jesse B is the guy selling the hatch latch mechanism. He did a great job making them. You won't be disappointed

Re: Blazer rear hatch mechanisms

I have one mechanism left. Once this one is gone, that will be it unless I have a bunch of folks willing to order one and wait a few months so I can get all the parts I need to make more. Thanks.
