Photobucket fix!!!

Found this on another forum I'm on. Chrome and Firefox have fixes to photobucket's extortion program!!! Works like a champ. No need to pay $40 a month to see 3rd party pics.

I typed in "chrome photobucket fix" in google and this link came up.
Replace chrome with firefox and it should give the fix as well.

Try these, I copied the links then re-opened in another tab before I posted them. They worked. If you can't get them to work....again,type these phrases into google depending on which one you need:

I have been using a plugin called "Photobucket Embedded Image Fix" for Chrome for a few weeks now and it works like a charm. It does take about two seconds for all the images to load on a page, but I'll take that over a bunch of blocked images.

Ya the problem is that it doesn't solve the old stuff that got hit. I've got 7 years of tech threads which got wiped out, and my 30+page build.

I went to the Firefox one and downloaded the app. Haven't checked anything. So, this is supposed to bring back the images? That's great! I thought this was just to allow us to share again. How about that? Does it fix that, too.

Yeah, I know about the gallery. The problem is, I followed the advise of this board when that was use Photobucket back in '04 and have thousands of pictures there now. Is there an easy way to move all that to the site gallery, and would they want to have to spend all that bandwidth for much of my pictures that have no relationship to this website?

Its an add on like the OP's post. I was suffering trying to reupload all my stuff, but it took literally 30 seconds to install and restored the stuff on my build!!! Its only on the USER end, so its still "technically" blocked, but this bypasses it. Devices that don't have the addon will still show blocked.

People need to look around and see there is/are a fix/fixes. We need someone on the staff to post a thread on this all over this site, or allow us to.

Has anyone found anything that helps from your phone? I have downloaded the Google web store fix, but nothing changed.

I did this fix for Firefox and I could see the pictures in various threads. But now it's back to the blocked by Promobucket again. I tried going through the link again to fix it but it says already done. I wish I knew as much about computers as I do cars and trucks...before they became computer operated.
