Reminds me of when we were kids in SoCal, the rumor was you could sneak into the waters around the San Onofre plant. It was said if you paddled in from far enough away they would usually give you a couple waves for your trouble before they chased you away. The water was noticeably warmer around there for some reason...

I guess it's closed down now.

Anyway, I was farther north and saw some tower that made me think about this trip. Also, we had pizza
Trip goin good so far. Stopped in Ohio for a few days to see my sister and brother-in-law. They have 20 acres out in the country, about an hour east of Columbus. He is into vintage tractors, and after talking to an old guy there about them I might have to get me one They are sure a lot less $$$ to restore than an old truck. The 8n Ford he still uses to clear brush and work on his property, and the John Deere B in the background he uses in local parades.

Re: Mmm...Pizza! Cross country road trip

You sure got a good dose of the Eastern heat and humidity... killer hot! I can tell the kids are loving it . I don't know if it's the worst I've felt or I just can't remember back a year anymore. Seems really bad, though. Hay wagon rides are a great thing in the fall. I used to bail hay when I was a kid. I certainly can remember how hot (and itchy) that was... but heat didn't bother me like it does now.

Great photos Scott.

Re: Mmm...Pizza! Cross country road trip

Old tractors are cool. You give them some love and they will work their but off for you and ask for more. So simple, so well built, and so no BS
