GMC 8ft 8inch Bed & Tow with a TH400 tranny
Does anyone know how many of the GMC version of the Chevy Longhorns were made in 1972? What option was it called on the glove box label?
Thank you! Oh - can you use a 2 wheel tow dolly to pull a pickup with a TH400 tranny? I believe it does not have positraction. |

If your towing it on the drive wheels its not good for your tranny. If its a one time thing just remove the driveshaft and your good to go.

Definitely pull the driveshaft. The trans will lock up otherwise.
