Hey, nice progress! Can you tell us about the swamp cooler? I saw some at Good Guys a few weeks ago and wasn't real sure what they were. Guessing by the name, I need to get one for my 40!

Re: my 53 five window

There is a pad in the cylinder that is hooked to a cord wich spins the pad, you add water to the cooler and spin the pad in the water. When you drive the air pushes through the cylinder, through the wet pad and cold air comes out, just like a swamp cooler. It is pretty sweet in Az dont think it would work well in humid climates

Re: my 53 five window

they both look like they turned out really good. I'll have to catch you around town sometime. Do you usally go to the wild cat house car show and swap meet? Or any of the other local car shows around town? I would like to see your truck in person;

Still waiting on the body shop so picked up two more projects. THe dune buggy is good, runs and drives should be fun. The plymouth on the other hand is going to be a good fun build, its for my girl.

Re: my 53 five window

body looks great, not sure though if she needs some different wheels, or a drop at the front. The stance just isn't quite right to my eye.

Re: my 53 five window

So went back to radials missed the ride. New glass and rubber. Went back to bucket seats out of new Chevy truck with shoulder belts built in. Chrome grill. My brother did the paint and it has been a nightmare. Blue with matte clear to make flat. Hood will get redone but all in all I'm happy just need wood kit and interior
