In Search Of Crew Cab

Hey Guys. Im looking for a clean crew cab. Prefer dually, 2wd auto but will consider all. Anybody have anything for sale? Closer to NC the better but will travel for the right truck. Thanks for any help fellas.

Re: In Search Of Crew Cab

Good luck. They do exist, but can be next to impossible to find. I did find this one not to far from me in my search, but I want 4x4 and would prefer a single cab.

Re: In Search Of Crew Cab

My dad has a '75 crew dually that he may be willing to trade. He hardly ever uses it anymore and I know he'd like your truck (he used to have a brown and tan '68). The main thing is it's not very original. It has an early 2000's style custom look with the typical stuff (bar grill, removed trim, custom paint, corvette tails, etc.). On the plus side, it's pretty clean. The cab could use a bit of rust repair around the doors, but the chassis and everything else is in great shape. If you want me to ask him about possibly letting it go, I will. It's located in Mocksville NC. These are the only two pics I have of it.

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.

Thanks for the offer, looking for a more original truck.

Re: In Search Of Crew Cab

Depending on what ur looking for or willing to ship i know of a few and see a bunch for sale here in central CA. ive bought 3 crew duallys in the last 2 yrs all under 1,000 and 1 hr away from home. They are going up in price as they become popular again but no one really wants them due to our ca smog laws most of them wont pass.

I should have gathered that from your username Good luck in the search. I've casually looked for the same thing in the past and always came up empty handed. I never even considered asking my dad to sell me his truck because I too would want something original.

I’m willing to shop. Just want a rust free, solid truck. Prefer auto and fuel injected. Dually.

Re: In Search Of Crew Cab

being out towards the East is tough but actually Georgia always seemed promising to me to find a truck.

I bought one from NJ, mistake. Brought it home and sold it soon after. Then I found a super clean 1976 GMC Crew Dually 2hrs away in Mississippi. Had to of spend lots of time inside.

Morale of the post- keep your head up. Watch craigslist and facebook marketplace. Use search terms that are common misspellings and such.

Rust free on the East coast? Can one legally use those words in a single sentence?

Re: In Search Of Crew Cab

I know where a 1984 C30 Dually is in SC, but it has no transmission, and the engine does not run. You would have to get it running yourself. I almost bought it myself.
