Are paying members only allowed to post in WiW section?
I do see that as a free member I am unable to post in the "For Sale" section.
Thanks, Bob. |

Re: Are paying members only allowed to post in WiW section?
Welcome to the site. I'm thinking you may be a Hot Wheels collector. Don't ask why, I'm just psychic I guess. If you scroll down the menu page you'll find the "Our Stuff In Scale" forum that is for all scale models of GM Trucks topics.
Yes, any post that can lead to a sale requires a subscription, which would be a WIW, WTB, or For Sale. So, non-subscribers are blocked from starting posts in the For Sale and WIW forums. While you may only be looking for what a thing is worth at the moment, others may try to buy once they know you have it and assume it is for sale...or want first dibs for when it is. It's as much protection from bash & run scammers as it is a way to support the board, which is a great venue for selling to a targeted GM Truck group. If you are looking at a truck or part you are considering buying you can start a thread to ask what it's worth in the year of forum for that vehicle.
