66 Brake line locations

I have a 66 LWB. Rear still has factory drums brakes although I have switched to 5 lug and replaced with all new parts. Front is an 85 cross member with all new power disk brakes. It has been too long since I removed all the 66 brake lines and what remained of the 85 brake lines. Does anyone have a diagram of where these lines ran originally? 66 or 85? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: 66 Brake line locations

On the setup you have now you will have two lines from the proportioning valve one to the front and one to the rear. The rear will run under the engine on the rear of the cross member and tot he back along the frame rail. Then to the stock bracket for the rubber hose and to the housing. I ran mine for the front down to a tee on the frame rail and a short line to the rubber line to the left front wheel I used existing holes in the frame to bring the front hoses off the upper arm like it was done on the older frame. I then ran a line the line to the other side along the front cross member like the 73 to 87's were done and to the right front hose.

Re: 66 Brake line locations

Same here.
I purchased a set of In-line disc/disc brakes lines with no instructions.
I am only guessing how this goes.
Photos would be great!

There are lots of treads with pics. Here are a couple. First one is with 72 brake line routing.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...318544&page=12 And one with 73 and up style front hoses.http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...318544&page=12
