LH or RH

I know...stupid question but I have to ask anyhow.
When you order parts from say...LMC for example; which is RH and which is LH?
From what perspective?
Thanks

Re: LH or RH

As far as I've ever heard... It's always the cars perspective.

LH=drivers side
RH=passenger

Anybody else agree?

What they said; it's always as you're sitting in the truck (or car).

Re: LH or RH

99 % of places are this way but places like autozone and advance auto are opposite. or as viewed from the front of vehicle. so i always specify now.
