I have a question on A/c ashtray

I am looking for a picture or some other information on The sequence of the brackets that attach the ashtray to Dash it looks like it could go a couple different direction thanks Doug

And I assume this is the correct version I think I had Mine that way once when open it seem to be too far under the dashI bolted mine to the bottom of the dash without the bracket almost seem to fit better I am also wondering does this mount in the center under the radio or does it favorite driver side

This is the correct way yes, I have seen them mounted in different spots, depends on who did it.

From what I see in your picture it appears it is directly under heater controls
