Anyone running older (73-87) (91) style 16" dually wheels on their 88-00 4x4 dually ?

I know the later studs are metric and Id have to use the metric lug nuts. I just like the look of the earlier wheels better.. They dont look as "sharp nosed" for lack of a better explanation...Will the older ones clear everything ?? Thanks

I have done that with non-dually wheels, so I would imagine they should work. Hopefully some one with more info than me will add on to this.

Those later GM dually trucks were still running 16" rims even past the 2000 year model. I haven't seen it done or tried it but seems like it would work.

Thanks guys ! So just for the record you can do it with no problem... I just swapped my 1985 dually wheels over to my 1995 dually, and put the 1995 wheels on the 1985... I may be crazy but ive never liked how the later wheels were made "sharper nosed" for lack of a better explanation... And they appear by eye deeper or more offset on the trucks ?? I didnt do any measuring.. I like the older ones better. I think they may have changed them to match the later (92-up) hupcaps ?? Anyway they will interchange with no interference.

They have simulators so its harder to tell the difference but I will post a pic as soon as I get a chance to snap one. Thanks
