I let it hang for 24 hours before I touched it. They said it is fully cured 5 days after spraying.

They also have a oven cured product but I didn't have access to an oven large enough so I went this route.
Thanks for the info Mike, I actually do have access to an oven and a spray booth where I work at the cabinet shop. I will have to check and see how hot the oven has to be though as we can only run ours up to about 180 or I risk setting the sprinkler system off I really like how you set it up as bolt together it seems to make more sense to me.

Mike the exhaust turned out great! Did I miss what you did to the driveshaft? Is it spray bombed or is it CeraKoted too?

I masked everything with the driveshaft in place. I scuffed it and used dupli-color self etch primer then finished it with Eastwood's chassis black. All rattle can

Re: 1970 Med Olive Project

Take a couple days off the board to go collect "Rusty Gold" and you built a tranny bracket(twice), a complete exhaust and coated it! Mike it looks awesome! And for the drop of the mufflers, it should work great! Much smoother flow. But where are the exhaust cut outs on electric actuators?

It was quick and easy and should hold up pretty good. I'm jealous you have the body on yours!

Building a small, high rpm engine with the perfect bore, stroke and rod ratio is very impressive.
It's like a highly skilled Morrocan sword fighter with a Damascus Steel Scimitar.....

Cubic inches is like Indiana Jones with a cheap pistol.
