New control arms for a bagged truck.

Hi Guys
Looking to replace my control arms bot upper and lower to get better caster. Thinking tubular, any recommendations?

Re: New control arms for a bagged truck.

Just do the Caster mod. No need to change the arms, just re-drill the locator hole. I moved mine 5/8" and easily can get 5 degrees. Search caster mod in this forum.

Re: New control arms for a bagged truck.

Tubular arms just make it easier to bag the truck, and offer little in the way of better geometry.

I have done the Gulstrand mod to several Camaros, and they work much better then just A arms. I have done the handling mods to C20's, and it freaks people out how well a old 3/4 ton rclb can hustle.

As stated above, the caster mod can be done fairly easy for OE style a-arms. If doing bags or coil-overs, then aftermarket might be the easier way to accomplish things.

Porterbuilt, Hotchkis, Ridetech, CPP, POL all offer tubular style a-arms.
