Looking for a vintage Hickey roll bar like that in the borrowed member pic below. Any leads would be appreciated. I'm traveling through Colorado and/or Utah Wyoming Idaho and into Montana in October. Thanks, Pete

Is it stamped hickey? How can you identify it? I know where there might be one. Whats it worth?

This isn't saying much but to my knowledge there isn't a stamping. I believe there was a sticker that accompanied the bar but not sure if it was attached at HE or not. Worth - I'm not sure. $150 - 300 maybe?

Huh - maybe FedEx/UPS would ship with a shipping label taped to the the bar? I've seen tires shipped that way via FedEx.

Good idea - I also have an Amtrak station right up the road. Does Amtrak handle freight?

Hey Pete, nice to meet you.. I grew up in Ruidoso down south of you... Anyway, here are some pics of one that I liked and then took it over to a muffler shop where they made it out of real thick steel, fully mandrel bent so I don't have to worry about any compromised bends. He made the new one for about $350.00 and then I had it powdercoated a shiny chromish color. It's still wrapped up because we are moving the project in the next few weeks but once I get everything back on track, I can unwrap it and take some pics of it..

Thanks for the lead! The pics look slightly different than the Hickey where the bars are welded up.I wonder if these are 73 -up?

AJ thanks! It's been a while since I've been through Lincoln Co. but always enjoyed the area. Don't sweat the pics but I appreciate the offer. One day a vintage Hickey piece will crop up within a days drive or so. I kinda like the "clean" look of no roll bar but hate the thought of a head/spine injury in a roll over. Pete
