Is there anything out there that google doesn't own? Some place to store and be able to post videos from?

I'd like to know. Photobucket used to be my way and the only way I know now is put it on YouTube then link it here

I love Vimeo but that's really for the more serious video peeps. I thought they had been purchased by one of the big brother places, but after a search I didn't find any evidence of that.

You could put it on OneDrive and share it as a media file...

I do have one drive, I don't use it at all though. Never considered using it to post a vid here on the board. Ill have to dig in to it a little

I just don't like the idea of putting my stuff "out there" somewhere like that. The whole cloud thing I just can't get with.

I had a youtube account years ago. Its still there but Im unable to edit or post to it. No idea what email it was associated with or the password.

Im tempted to just open another one and create an account using my work Chrome. While I don't (well, try to avoid) use Google personally anymore I do have a Chrome browser on my computer that I only use for work. It probably still "infects" my computer with its ever reaching tentacles. I do "feel better" though trying very hard not to use any Google products personally.

I went ahead and opened a new youtube account using my work Chrome account. I had planned on posting a ton of videos from Bonneville this year but cancelled my trip. As much as I love going I really have better ways to spend my time for that week. So now I have a youtube account with one video, my granddaughter lol.
