WTT tach / vac tin for tach tin

I’ve got a nice clean gauge cluster backing plate for gauges including tachometer and vacuum. I’d like to trade for a backing plate with tach only.

Just an idea if no one has one....I had same scenario, and had backing plate out of 50 or 60 series truck, and only wanted a tach/guage cluster, and I simply cut a round piece of sheet metal same diameter, painted it satin black to match the rest, then glued it in place. Once in cluster no one is the wiser that it once had a vac guage.

Yes, I've done that before also and it works perfect. This is a tach unit I'll probably be keeping and I'd rather it be correct if I can find someone to swap with me. Thanks for the input.

Carls - let me know if you have one. Thanks for looking.
