'04 Denali auto seat
when the key is removed, the seat automaticly slides forward(I think its suppose to slide back,The switch works backwards also?). Is there any way to cancel this function?

yes, thru the DIC (driver information center). well at least my 04 avalanche has an option for easy exit seat or something like that.
