Re: 67 long box

Adding two more speakers 4" using the old speaker. New bracket to hold it in place, turned out on the first try. Made up a cup/phone holder, old one doesn't hold square milk boxes, Canadian thing, it also has back lighting. Took the old radio that was dead, sliced and diced to just have the face plate look original. That gorilla glue works.

Re: 67 long box

So I've been out doing some driving, up until Friday last week I had two heart attacks. They put a stent in on Monday and everything has gone great. Just my luck after having Cluster headaches for 12 yrs. I get a heart attack at 50.

Re: 67 long box

Doing great, I was out to a cruise night with the truck. All is good and my headaches have died down by at least half. So I'm on my 2nd life just like shiny side down. The two ball represents the trucks second life.

Re: 67 long box

Hey Trash here's some pics of the way I did it, the table and a hammer is all I used to make it. I have no special machines for metal working, just cut, beat with a hammer, weld and grind.

Re: 67 long box

Hey Derrick, tell me about that table, is it a solid plate top? If so that thing must weigh a ton.

Thanks

Solid plate 33" x 22" x 1" and ya it weighs a ton. It was precision ground perfectly flat. It was made for a guy that never picked it up and I got it for a case of beer. Weighs over 200 lbs for just the top. Perfect size fab table for me little shop. The two pieces of round bar are for bending circles in round/flat bar

Re: 67 long box

Thanks Derrick, Appreciate the info and pics. Most importantly, I hope you’re health is better.

Last night, I made the channel pieces for the dash area that connects to the inner cowl / windshield. Both windshield corners were rotted out. In a few weeks, I’ll try to tackle those inner cowl panels like what you made.

Anyhow, thanks again and you hang tough brother.

It's just one piece at a time, any progress is progress. Thanks man I've been doing good, but not over doing it.
