I spotted this 55-57 GMC today.

But I've never seen chrome trim like this on one of these .

Its placed mid body and across the tail gate.
It has a '100' emblem on the forward half of the side trim.

I wonder if this is a export truck (from the USA) perhaps Canadian ?

Anyone have a clue ?

I think Chevy and owner done modification.

I went back and took another look and it appears to be a 55 , 56 or 57 Chevy according to the script on the tailgate trim. The side trim has a checked flag where I thought it was a 100.

The trim and the fiberglass is factory original.

Any ideas, thoughts as to what special model this is ????

The trim is from a '59 Impala 2 door.
