mesurement

Im looking for a measurement from the top of the axle to the frame on my 53 to see how much it sagged from stock .... i want to get new springs and want to see if i want it lower than stock

I think the info is either in the Assembly manual or the service manual and right now I can't find either.

71 GMC 2500 that is getting a Cad 500 transplant.
77 C 30 dualie, 454, 4 speed with a 10 foot flatbed and hoist. It does the heavy work and hauls the projects around.

It isn't in the Truck Data book that I got from Jim Carter either. I'll dig out the assembly manual and see if anything is in it.
