71 c10 Lower A arm location correct?

C10 Nation!

I rebuilding the entire front end stock. Rebuilt upper and lower control arms including shaft assemblies. I have installed both lowers and lined up the rivets with the forward divots on the shaft assembly.

After installation I noticed that there is 1/2” difference between the two lower control arms in relation to the crossmember. Is this a problem? If so, what is the solution?

Please see pic’s.

Re: 71 c10 Lower A arm location correct?

Thanks for your help. Upon further investigation I received two different shaft assemblies that were causing the 1/2” difference. The numbers on the boxes matched but one of the shafts was definitely not the right one. Parts store messed up and they are exchanging for the right one.

Lesson learned: The parts in a box do not always match what is labeled on the box. Double check part numbers on everything before install!
