jump the purple triger wire to the starter . if it rolls over then you got wiring problems or a bad ignition column switch or Neutral safety switch .
but please make sure your in park and wheels blocked . i dont want you getting run over .

I have several of these old trucks, and a couple of them have a trick to start them. For one of them, I have to have the tilt column all of the way down to get it to crank-It might either need the switch on top of the column adjusted or maybe replaced. On another old truck, I have to hold the key in the start position and wiggle the shifter-ignition safety switch problems. Maybe try these and see if one of them makes it whirl.....
