Talking my daily driver - bagged 06 crew cab

I figured that I would just throw these pictures up here. I sold my red truck to the guy that was the 1st owner of this. It was pretty much stock when I got it (5 months ago). Let me know what you guys think.

I like it. I like it a LOT. But then again, my opinion is a bit biased...

crazy. My truck had those wheels on it when I got it. I decided since this is my "work truck" stock 17's would be my best bet.

As you probably already know, I am liking your truck too.

edit: where did you get the "rock sliders" and which bed cover are you rockin?

The "rock sliders" are called "Sport Tubes" made by Westin- Link
I had them on my 02 Harley F150 and liked the look. It helps fill the gap and adds some well needed bling to all that black.

The bed cover is a Snuglid by Snugtop-Link

Funny that mine is a "work truck" too. Well actually just my daily driver, but I do work out of it. It started out with the 17" alloy wheels, but I swapped them for the chrome ones till my 22's came in.

Cool thanks.

If you decide to sale either the bed cover or the tubes let me know. I might have to pick them up from you. I had a gaylords lid on my red truck and miss being able to leave crap in the bed. I have a trailer so most of the time I use it to haul bigger things.

Are your mirrors and lower valance color matched.

Here is a couple of interior pictures.

And a before shot of when I got the truck. Could have passed as your twin.

That thing is sweet!!!! Nice buy!

I can understand the 17's due to it being a work truck.... but you gotta love those 20's and they would look great tuckin'!

Yeah, it's become a tradition that I do to all my daily drivers. The mirrors, lower valance, door handles, tailgate handle, and the leading edge of the rear bumper cap are all color matched.

That "before" shot of your with the wheels does look like mine.

I got call him out on this one. You went to 17's cause it's your work truck, but then you bagged it? What up with that?

I just have my mirrors done. Good thing I didn't do my lower valance since it is pretty scratched up now. I would like to shave my tailgate and get the rear bumper plastics painted but i have spent too much money on this truck. When I got it I gave myself a $2000 budget.

Well when I got it I had to lower it. So I lowered it 4/8 with helper bags. Then I got tired of hauling a tank around to air up the bags when it was time to haul anything. So I started getting the parts to do the air mang for the helper bags. I was just going to leave the front static. Then I found a deal on a ART coolride/kp6link set up for $1000. Next thing I knew I had the **** to bag my whole truck sitting in my garage. Well I thought about it and I decided to just bag the front and keep the 8 inch drop with the helper bags in the rear. After the 86 is complete I will do a 4link out back and call it good.

No worries. My dad asked me the same thing.

It still has stock fender wells front and rear. The transmission crossmember is about an inch off the ground with factory sized tires.

Re: my daily driver - bagged 06 crew cab

Nice truck. But since you bagged it, you might as well stick the wheels back on the "work" truck. haha I don't do daily hauling or pulling, but my daily driver is a 06 with 20's. They have a little thicker tire than you can put on 22's. Maybe you could compromise and sell/swap the 22's for 20's. Even some chrome 18's would be a good step up over stock with the bagged look. Anyway looking good even with stock rims.
