My daily driver project 2002 RCSB

So I just wanted to post up some photos of my truck and its progress so far, I drive this truck every day unless it snows but here in Seattle thats not very often. I personally didnt do much of the work, I work in a shop so I have access to body men and mechanics . Still along way to go but heres some pics for now.

This is what the front end looked like when I got it , frame was toast!

This is it pieced togther so I could use it for work.

Trying out a color in the paint shop

Finally , did the HD front end, found some stock 20's and painted it! Will have more done this year

It's coming around nicely. Good look. Did you put another frame under it or have that one repaired?

I've wanted to do an HD conversion to my 2000 since I bought it back in 05, but I don't want to pay for paint and I don't think there's anyway fresh paint would match up, it would need a full blend job... $$$...

I love this truck.

Re: My daily driver project 2002 RCSB

little update, I got the bow tie on the grille painted and wrapped finally. Getting the 3" catback Magnaflow exhaust installed on saturday, then the 25th I'm taking it to Randys Ring and Pinion for a Yukon LSD, bearings and 4:11 gears!! soo excited to feel the difference from my stock 3:42's. after that its Caltracs and a DJM rear sway bar. Should get me through to summer.

That is one sweet looking ride! Nice decisions in it. The color, the clip, stance, wheels all work wonderfully together.

Re: My daily driver project 2002 RCSB

Got the gears in and decided on the Detroit Trutrac over the Yukon gears, just passed the 500 mile break in point and ready to change out the fluid, feels so much better with these gears. Decided next up is a set of LT headers, Cam and a stall. hooked on power at the moment I also got my PCM programmed for 05 Efans since i have all the parts to do the conversion, hopefully will get this done before the weekend, Thanks to Justin at Blackbearperformance for doing the Efan software upgrade at no additional cost when he programmed my PCM for speedo correction after gear change!!!

edit: almost forgot, going to Idaho in July for an in person tune from Justin and want to have as much done as possible before the event. Cant wait for the tune!

This is a pretty rad ride! Was the HD clip hard to put on or just bolt right up?
