lowering a 72 burb

Alright guys I've got a question I ordered a pair of drop spindles for my 72 burb and the ball joints are to big for the spindles. It's a 72 c10 5 lug. Any way did they use different ball joints and spindles for burbs or do I just have a strange one? I looked up parts on different parts sites and they list c10 pickups and burbs using the same ball joints. Just wandering if anybody else has ran into this. Thanks guys in advance

Re: lowering a 72 burb

71-72 drop spindles should be a straight swap. My guess is you received a conversion spindle for a 67-70. Out of the upper, lower, and steering linkage balljoints, do they all not fit, or is it only one or two that don't fit? You can change the balljoints pretty easily to the correct ones for the spindle if that's easier than returning the spindles.
