how hard is it to change cluster
How hard is it to change the half moon cluster to the needle with tach in my 89 gmc has any one done it before

It's not very hard, provided the cluster with the tack has the same connector.
I did the swap in my 89 Chevy. If they have the same connector do the following. Move the following wires. Move B15 to B11, Move A10 to A9, Move A11 to A10. Install the wire and pin assy into B15 for the tach. |

The above post works if you find a 1991 only tach cluster.
I installed a 1992-94 cluster in my 1989 and it was a lot more involved, but doable.
