454ss

After having a '72 C10 for 5 years I needed a change. This weekend I picked up an all original, 86k mile '90 454SS. Planning on the same motor changes that were done to the last 454SS I had, it was good for 13.9 sec quarters. Anyone else mess with these '90s big block trucks?

Re: 454ss

I still like these trucks a lot. My dad had one in 1990. Considered getting one instead of my c10 but wanted something old.

Re: 454ss

It looks great! I owned one for ten years, it is a fun truck to have. I always wanted to take off the peanut port heads and replace them with 781 heads.

Out of the 16,000(1990-1993) they made in 4 years I have only seen a handful in person.
