‘78 C10 Willis, TX

New member from Willis, TX, about 45 min North of Houston. I’ve been buying/gathering parts for my grandpa’s old truck that was hit in the front end. I’ve already got an LS2 with LS3 heads, a blower cam, and a few head mods, speed engineering long tube headers, a 6L80E, Detroit Steel Wheels Delray in 20x9 & 20x14’s with 31x18x20 Mickey Thompsons, Ingenuity Fab and Speed crossmember, & a Porter Built Level 3 drop member with Ridetech coilovers.. I picked up a parts truck mainly for the frame and mocking up the wheels. I’m looking for a used 2.9 Whipple (hard to come by). If I don’t find one soon I’ll be ordering a new one. I’ll begin tear down/rebuild in the next couple of weeks. Looking forward to smoking some vettes in the grandpa truck (camper in tow).
