ball joints needed

Whats a good company to get ball joints? I have 33" tires should I get a hd ball joints?

spicer ball joints are oem and sealed do not have to grease. You can buy spicer ball joints in a kit for one side.

Not sure what you mean by "heavy duty" because the design of the joint is all the same. The difference is in quality of manufacture and quality of materials used. You can't get any better than MOOG or Spicer. Any other brands will most likely be an offshore inferior product.

Everyone loves the MOOG brand, but some of their products are shyt. They used to be sole source out of USA. Now they farm different joints out of places everywhere...Japan, thailand, Turkey, etc...just an FYI.

Yeah, it's sad that manufacturing is all shipped out now. Regardless, if it has the MOOG name or Spicer is has to be built to a certain standard using the proper materials. A lot of products we tend to think that's made in USA is actually made in China. Brands like Snap-On,American Racing, Eagle rods etc.. all have plants in Asia.

Does anyone know the Moog and Spicer Part #'s for 71 k5 4x4 ball joints and tie rod ends? Also a distributer? I've been looking without much success..

Ball joints: 706116X (buy two kits)

TRE: ES375R and ES375L (these are for the long draglink type arm that connects the two knuckles)

Rockauto sells the spicer joints - just looked they sell the Moog also

Easy to find NOS GM on ebay. Same ball joints form 69-77 / Dana 44.
