Brushable Chassis Paint

I'm close to painting my chassis and I want to brush it on. I'm doing a flat bed so you're going to see the underneath. I want to do a textural thing like in this picture. When I do this on furniture I use Rustoleum enamel and I'm pretty sure that's not going to work for my truck. Haha! I brush on a good amount of black and add streaks of red while it's still wet and then dry brush it smooth. I want to highlight rivets and stuff too.

I don't know jack about auto paints but I'm assuming most quality paints are meant to be sprayed. I saw some POR-15 being brushed on but it doesn't come in red. It's not really a paint though is it? I'm assuming if I tried to brush in some red paint they wouldn't mix successfully. Any suggestions on a quality product that would suit my needs?
Any help is greatly appreciated.

Re: Brushable Chassis Paint

I suggest researching Hammerite paint. You apply by brush and comes in several colors, both a smooth and hammered finish, and some have used it on their frames and swear by it. Their website leaves a lot to be desired, but you can purchase it on Amazon and read the reviews to see what others think.

Awesome! Thank you so much. I'll look into them.

Re: Brushable Chassis Paint

I used Rustoleum hammered on my frame and I am happy with the results.
Touch up is a breeze.
