86 k10 bad runner

Hey guys ive got a problem the 86 k10 i have has 350/th350 combo my problem is it wont idle like how most will jump their rpm until they are warm and you can kick them down this you habe to keep revving to keep it running and it will barely i mean barely idle and shut off the second it shuts off. It has no hei, all emmisions have been removed and the engine is out of a 76 camaro i believe. Places to start? Missing springs parts i should look for?

Sounds like you're used to modern Fuel Injected vehicles that idle right when you start them. If the choke on the carb is missing or inoperative then the engine won't run and idle during cold starts. You will have to keep feathering the throttle to keep it running.

Also ensure your timing is correct.
