Doing anything special?
I'm wondering if anyone has realized that the forum turns 20 this year. That should be an anniversary we celebrate, you know like paper or sumpin'. I think it would be neat to see some milestone posts put up for posterity. You know, like the first post ever to the forum, LHM's epic adventures, and could someone open the damn safe?

Re: Doing anything special?
I don't remember my first post.....but that was almost 16 years ago. I love this place. The man I now call my best friend lives 6 miles from me and we met thru this board. Plus many, many other friends I have met and wish to meet some day.

Re: Doing anything special?
I guess I just passed 17 years. I didn't realize it had been that long.
I guess I'll celebrate by finally getting my Blazer back on the road.

I've been involved here since '01 as well. Gosh, it sure doesn't seem like that long.

Re: Doing anything special?
Hey Panel, break out the foil beanie and join us for a get together in Mooresville in June. It may not be a GOTG but it's always good to get a bunch of bowties together.
We're getting together after the HRPT and Andrew (Graham57A) is putting it together. http://67-72chevytrucks.com/vboard/s...d.php?t=753995

Re: Doing anything special?
Are you asking "me" if "I'm" doing anything? You did call me out by name you know
I wondered about a 20th anniversary, but was confused about the start date. I see '96 some places and wondered why we nothing came up about the 20th ann. I remember the 10th but forget what year it was. I think a 20th anniversary sticker is in order, maybe t-shirts? How about some regional get-togethers Maybe that'll get the unsocial lardasses out to gather. C'mon y'all show some team spirit. RAH RAH RAH!!! And all that!

Re: Doing anything special?
I meant around here. Just can't make a gathering work with these people.
That's a good idea. But I suggest the prize or prizes be generated by the members.
