suburban value
I just sold my 65 c10 pickup and was looking at 60's suburbans. What would be a fair price for a running daily driver? So few of these show up in Tx I dont know what their worth. Ive seen non running trucks in the 5000 range and out of state nice looking drivers for 5000 to 20000. Just looking for a nice driver that I can work on without spending a fortune. Would 5000 to 8000 get me what Im looking for or am I just dreaming ? Thanks.

Affordable Suburbans are plentiful if you like them rough. Decent survivors are out there and occasionally can be had for a good price, but almost always are snagged by ultra savvy internet hunters. Like a chicken on a cricket, these finds are snatched up in hours or even minutes after being listed.
I'd say your best bet is to educate yourself on how to "shop" the net effectively. Easier said than done on that one, as few experts are willing to share the secrets that are vital to their success. Your only other option would be to rely on luck to drop one in your lap. It does happen, though it may be faster to just buy a lotto ticket and get any truck you want with your winnings. There was on on I45 just south of hempsteap it is a 60 or 61. He wanted 7000 and it looks like the craiglist one on the other post. Mine is. 65
