Only took a few years but finally put a plow on the K30 dump. Repainted the blade, new hoses, off we go next winter!

what tonnage of plates should i put on my 1981 -k-30 -that has a 8ft masons box on it ? i just finished it up & need to get insurance & bigger tonnage plates on it to be legal! thanks for some ideas !

Well the GVW plate on mine is 11,000 so if
I got pulled over with 8200 they would throw the book at me.
Can you get it registered for 15,000?

yep x2 . the dot / cop man goes off gvw tag or title info and then goes off plate reg spec and then hands you your ticket if you qualify for one .

and most states you can do a special inspection to up the gvw if your truck could have been that much and you can prove all the current parts are up to that spec class , but this can be a huge job to take on .
