Curious this as well. Had a hinge pop last week and ordered a new set from lmc. See how long they last.

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

I have the cvf racing hinges and I really like them. With all the adjustments they have, you can dial the hood in and get the gaps a lot better then what the factory had. Also, they open more than some of the others that cost more. Most people I don’t think mention it, but if you look a little closer, you will see that the hood doesn’t open as much as the factory hinge did. Cvf hinges do not have this problem.

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

I have the RingBrothers hood hinges.
Still waiting to cut a hole in the hood to be able to close with an air filter on the engine, but does close without the air filter.

What I do know is, the hood does not open up as far as stock hinges.

And you better have the hinges aligned right, without any binding, or they will not last long.

Re: Billet Hood Hinges

CVF hinges are very good. I have a set on one of my 68 trucks and the adjustments are easy and stay true. Well worth the money.
