Help with Install on new Spost Steering Wheel

You'd think for what they charge for one these and they come as a complete kit they'd put an install illustration in the box. Okay first question the silver thing that that the horn button attaches to does it go under or on top of the steering wheel. As you can see I put it on top and think it must go under. I didnt try to fit the horn cap on as I had had enough of it for one day. Second pertaining to the same piece there are 3 things for the screw to go through to attach to the adaptor. One is more flat than the other two does it go in a select hole on the adaptor or any other reason its different. I did drive the drive the truck bit with the new whellattached and the 15 inch diameter is a perfect size for the truck.

The white ring is the turn signal canceling cam. It goes under the steering wheel. I think you can find a video on you tube

Thumbs up Re: Help with Install on new Spost Steering Wheel

The silver thing is installed on top but not as you have it. It should be installed where the 3 cutouts are in the wheel. You should have three screws that counter sink it.

The white cam does go under the hub. If you have a tilt column you need the right one plus the spring. They are different than the standard column.

Get out and drive the truck this summer and have some fun!
It sucks not being able to hear!

LWB trucks rule, if you don't think so measure your SWB!
After talking to tech support at Air Lift I have found out that the kit I need is 60811. Per the measurements I gave them. Ride height of truck inside spring and inside diameter of springs.

Thanks Andy. Yes I know the white cam cancel thing wont work on a tilt wheel and I'm ordering a new one with a spring and metal piece as well. She'll stay like this, cause I like the wheel and how it feels and I find the truck easier to steer, til I get the new parts as the wheel works but I don't have a horn, no big deal.
