Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Finally got off the lazy boy (damaged L5/S1 disc) and into the church pew. Did not get the GMCPauls parts or CSM glove box door insert installed. I’ll save that for a nice day I can enjoy working on it. I did wish I wasn’t laid up and the driveway wasn’t so muddy. I really want to go for a drive.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I did not pull the 72 out of the shop yesterday or today.... I am posting now because there is a good chance that I may fire it up and bring it outside later this afternoon. So that’s what I didn’t do to my truck today...so far.

We did a bunch of wheel swapping here at the Truck Farm today , moved a bunch of trucks around , 2 up into the pasture until we part them out . Moved a couple we plan to build later on and even cleaned out my shop .

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I didn't clean the garage now that the truck is out, didn't open the box Fred sent me. It's too cold in Phoenix to be out there. Good excuse!!

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
What is it, like 45-50? Brrrrrr........ It's about 40 here today and very damp. Bone chilling. 25 and sunny is more comfortable.
I'm not fixing a slow leak in the l/r tire valve on the '72. I topped it off and I'm going to haul a couple ladders, one more time, up to a job I started. We had a decent snow in early November, but just rain since. So roads have been salt-free. Looks like there's a good chance of snow end of the week, so probably it's last run for a while. Plenty of fresh gas with Startron in the tank. I have had two of the fancy metal valves that came with my new tires fail. I'll deal with it once the truck sits. Brake work, too. I put it on stands for the winter

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Tim, That's way I left that D.C. area. TOO COLD!! It's 12:00 pm now and it's only 45deg
here. The shop called me and said the new turn signal switch is what is causing all my problems. Soooo I'm not going to work on the truck again, but i'm going to clean up when it gets warmer. Tim, it's going to be a high of 40deg in Flagstaff today mike

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Took the day off so I pulled the 72 out of the shop today and dialed in the fast idle cam. Drove to town to give it a wash and noticed I’ve got a bit of an exhaust leak on the drive side manifold. Guess what I didn’t do to my truck today.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
I just got home. I did enjoy driving it today. This place is a nice 25 minute country cruise from here. I ran about 40 the whole way. Traffic? Same few here and there any time of day.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
68 degrees and sunny here today. I loaded the ATV in the Longhorn and went over to a friends and rode around his 900+ acres.
I didn't take pictures. (Did it happen?)

Put my new (to me) router table together and aligned everything. Truck sat at the curb, on the street.

You were on the sunny side. We still had sprinkles off and on until noon.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Due to the 70+mph winds, I didn't get to pull the dripping Qjet off of my K35. Needed safety glasses just to be outside due to the amount of dirt blowing around...

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Yup. I'm currently building a chest for my wood carving tools. The one I have now is made of quarter sawn white oak and it's getting beat up in transport to the class and back. The new one is going to be Baltic birch plywood, which is a ton cheaper and I won't mind if it gets dinged up. The oak one will end up a bench princess with the big carving tools that I don't tote to class in it.

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
Today is Friday and I ussually spend less time on the 72 after work before giving up for the week and dringking beer, BUT the 85 (my daily) has a bad fuel pump and needs replaced, AND it's supposed to snow a bunch tonight...SO, I think I'll do nothing tonight and start the beer drinking right after work, head to the house early after 3 or so and take it easy. Start the truck works tomorrow...85 fuel pump then the 72 hood and tailgate body work.
Sometimes my logic only makes sense to me!

Re: What Didn't You Do To Your Truck Today?
No work on the truck, but did work ON the truck.......
(The truck is under it's winter "blanky") and becomes a handy work bench over the winter.
