Anyone ever swap out a seatbelt?

Hey folks. Bought a 2004 Silverado for my teen son and the passenger seatbelt was cut off. As many of you probably know, the retractor assembly is in the seat. I looked for videos of how to replace and the best I could find was one on replacing the seat covers. Looks like a huge hassle but I thought I'd ask the experts here if it's worth the effort or should I just look for a replacement seat from parted out trucks? I'd appreciate any wisdom you could share.

Re: Anyone ever swap out a seatbelt?

It's buried in the seat back. You have to take the back cover off the seat.

Pristine passenger seats are still reasonably plentiful... It's the driver seat that's painful to find in decent shape.
