1950 Hood Cowl Rubber

I installed the new Hood Cowl Rubber on my 1950 and it looks like I need to cut some of the rubber off and I was wondering how much to leave on the end if any?

Recommendations?

I am defiantly trimming it, just did not want to whack off too much.

Well now that I re-read my last sentence that sounded like something I should not say out loud if you read it the wrong way

I'm pretty sure that this one on a 49 cab is the original strip.

There is too much snow to look at the other cabs right now.
